Guarantee of Quality

At Direct From the Mines we work hard to insure that every customer is treated with respect and honesty. We maintain the highest level of ethics and fair dealing, and believe in the Gold Rule in all that we do. We guarantee that all of our gems, minerals and crystal products are properly identified and accurately represented in all factors of grading, size, quality and value. We are professional gemologists with over 46 years of industry experience, including holding the top gemological diplomas and certifications in the industry.  In the event that any dispute arises we will work to insure that a fair resolution is obtained. We do not recognize other dealer’s opinions of our prices. In the event that any litigation is required to resolve a dispute, it is agreed by all parties that Bexar County, Texas will be the jurisdiction of record for all dispute litigation, arbitration or mediation.

All Sales Final

Except in the case of miss-identification of a gemstone, mineral or crystal, on the part of Direct From the Mines, it is understand that ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Due to the nature of gem, mineral and crystal handling issues, we do not allow returns or exchanges based on buyers remorse, other dealer’s opinions of our quality or price, or other related claims. We do not accept return of any damaged merchandise unless that damage was the fault of Direct From the Mines either in our handling of the piece, or defective shipping methods. In the event a piece is damaged in transit, we will work with the buyers to file a proper claim to recover all losses.

Return Authorization Requirements

In the unlikely event that Direct From the Mines provides an inaccurate identification or description of a piece, we will accept that piece for return and will provide a full refund based on receiving the item back in the same condition in which it was shipped, including all tags and packing materials.  Any and all returns will be at the decision of Direct From the Mines. Any request for return must be made in writing to us at our email: info@directfromthemines.com.

Shipping and Handling

All gems, minerals and crystals are packaged for shipment using professional standards and materials. All shipments are insured for the purchase price of the piece. In the event that a piece is damaged in shipping, it is the buyers responsibility to immediately document the damage by photograph, file a claim with the shipper, and notify Direct From the Mines of the situation.  We require the buyer to provide documents to Direct From the Mines of the claim made. We will make every effort to insure that your purchase is properly protected and insured, and any damage that occurs in shipping we will take a personal interest in getting a proper resolution.
